How to prep jars for refill

Let’s say you just housed some pickled okra and think to yourself, “this jar would be perfect to refill with face scrub or bath salts from Cleenland! But the label is stuck on and the lid smells like a BBQ joint..."

Here are the two easy steps to prep your jars and bottles for refill:

Soak the jar in water with a squirt of dish soap. After a day or so, the label should scrape right off.

Leave the washed and dried lid out in the sun for a day.

(If you’re on the third floor like me, put the lid in a clear container to keep it from blowing away!)

BAM! That’s it. Your container is ready for its next life at Cleenland :)
